In the Genoret Database we call Datafile any type of file containing ... data.
A Datafile can be an image, a MSWord .doc file, a simple plain text file, ...
A Datafile, generally uploaded to the Genoret Database by a EVI-Genoret member, is well registered in the database.
It has
*a Title *a Description *a Owner *a Visibility Group *a associated file, stored (somewhere) in the Genoret Database
The Title, Description and Visibility Group can be modified by the Owner.
A Datafile can be referenced by several SOPs and Galleries. This can be done by all Genoret members.
