In the Genoret Database we call Datafile any type of file containing ... data.
A Datafile can be an image, a MSWord .doc file, a simple plain text file, ...
A Datafile, generally uploaded to the Genoret Database by a EVI-Genoret member, is well registered in the database.
It has
* a Title * a Description * a Owner * a Visibility Group * a associated file, stored (somewhere) in the Genoret Database
The Title, Description and Visibility Group can be modified by the Owner.
A Datafile can be referenced by several SOPs and Galleries. These can be done by all Genoret members.
