The File Menu

Open an alignment file. A submenu appears allowing a choice between :

MSF(GCG) format
Macsim format. The Macsim format is the XML file output of the MACSIMS server (seee http://bips.u-strasbg.fr/MACSIMS for details).
TFA (Fasta) file format.
RSF file formats, as output by the SeqLab program.

A first check is done thanks to the file extension (.msf, .tfa, .xml, .rsf recognized). Then Ordalie will check the file content.

Save the entire current alignment in the current file format.

Save the entire current alignment in the desired file format.

Save only the visible part of the alignment in the specified file format.

Close current alignment and all dependencies (overview, structure viewer, ...)

Setup properties of printing, like paper orientation, presence of rulers, font size, color.

Print the alignment in PostScript or JPC file.
