The overview window give access to a synthetic representation of the alignment. The gray zone correspond to sequence.A click with <Button-1> on the view centers the alignment in the main window at the selected point.
The pull down menu defines the behavior of the display. By default, the Overview window is in automatic mode, that means that every feature selected in the main window will be displayed in the overview window in the same order.The "None" option disabled the features rendering. All other option are attached to a particular feature.
The "+" and "-" buttons will enlarge or reduce the display respectively until a defined limit.
The print button allow to save the overview as an image in GIF or PostScript format. The user will be prompted for the name of the output file
The Close button will close the window.
NOTE : The number of Overview window is unlimited. The user can display one feature in a window, and an other one in a second window.
