The Structure Window
The Structure window gives control to the structure rendering. Whatever the choosen viewer, the Structure window will be the same.
The Checkkbuttons
The checkbuttons at the left side determine if whether or not the structure is to be displayed.
The pull-down menu
The pull-down menu at the right of the structure name define the type of representation. By default, the cartoon representation is set. Depending if the viewer is RasMol or VMD, the types of representation may be different.
- For RasMol : cartoon, wireframe, trace ribbons
- For VMD : cartoon, ribbons, newribbons, trace, cpk
The pull down menu defines the behavior of the display. By default, the Overview window is in automatic mode, that means that every feature selected in the main window will be displayed in the overview window in the same order.The "None" option disabled the features rendering. All other option are attached to a particular feature.
